Until the creation of this book in 2017, these witty and beautifully composed 100 year old letters carefully typed on onion skin paper, were folded and stored away in a 4”x6” box for a very long time. They were written by a young soldier who was serving in the Quartermaster Corps. during WWI. The couple married and shared a full and what seemed like a genuinely joyous life until each of them passed. This book was lovingly commissioned by the letter writer’s granddaughter. 30 copies were printed and given as gifts, allowing the couple’s many descendants to appreciate this sweet slice of their family history.
